Louboutin has officially filed their appeal with the Second Circuit and a hearing is set for January 24th. The decision of the District Court has been cause for controversy and concern for many brands with similar color trademarks that could potentially be deemed invalid.
Tiffany & Co. is one such company. The brand has had a trademark on “Tiffany Blue,” the robin’s egg blue that has graced the company’s packaging, products and advertisements, for over 100 years.
