TARA GAMPEL, founder and editor-in-chief of Haute-Law.com, is currently a third year law student in the evening division at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, and concentrating in Intellectual Property. Originally from New York, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Before pursuing a career in law, she worked for several years with Barney’s New York, and interned at Point A Showroom, the fashion showroom in New York City’s Fashion District that gave birth to the infamous J Brand jeans label and hosts a variety of other remarkable designers. She has also spent time in college interning at NorthFire Recording Studio in Amherst. Her passions include, but are not limited to: live music, high-heeled shoes, the search for the perfect jeans, swimwear, New York City, nights out on the town, designing and creating her own clothing, and anything out of Kate Moss’ closet.
